1946 Philadelphia Silver Bar -- The statutory requirements are stamped on the top side. This bar was poured from Melt No. 10 with a type three hallmark. This bar is from the 20 to 30-ounce class Philadelphia bars and are about twice as rare as their 5-ounce counterparts. The top side of this bar is stamped with the date of 1946 and purity of .999 along with the standard Philadelphia hallmark (upside down) . No. 243 with a weight of 25.09 OZT. The melt number (10) is on the short upper side.
